Die FDA hat CARDAMYST (etripamil) Nasenspray zur Konversion akuter symptomatischer PSVT-Episoden in den Sinusrhythmus bei Erwachsenen zugelassen. Das Produkt ist nun für die Selbstverabreichung durch Patienten indiziert und bietet eine neue nicht-invasive Behandlungsoption mit nachgewiesener Wirksamkeit in der RAPID-Studie. Die Zulassung ermöglicht Milestone den Beginn von kommerziellen Launch-Aktivitäten mit einem 60-köpfigen Außendienst, der auf ca. 10.000 Verschreiber abzielt.
