Atea AVIR: C-BEYOND Phase 3 met primary/secondary endpoints for BEM/RZR in HCV
The document reports that the Phase 3 C-BEYOND trial met its primary endpoint of statistical non-inferiority versus SOF/VEL in the mITT population (93.9% vs 94.8% SVR) and all secondary endpoints, including the per-protocol analysis. The 8-week BEM/RZR regimen in non-cirrhotic patients achieved 93.5% SVR, supporting a potential best-in-class profile with shorter duration, low drug-drug interaction risk, and no food effect. NDA submission is now guided for Q2 2027 pending C-FORWARD results.
Atea completes enrollment in Phase 3 C-FORWARD HCV trial
Atea has completed enrollment of more than 880 treatment-naïve HCV patients in the global Phase 3 C-FORWARD trial. Topline results are now guided for around year-end 2026, following the earlier C-BEYOND readout expected mid-year 2026. The trial compares the BEM/RZR regimen head-to-head against sofosbuvir/velpatasvir outside North America.
