FDA đã chấp nhận BLA của Vertex cho phê duyệt nhanh povetacicept ở người lớn mắc IgAN và ấn định ngày hành động mục tiêu PDUFA là 30 tháng 11 năm 2026. Hồ sơ được hỗ trợ bởi phân tích trung gian Tuần 36 được xác định trước từ thử nghiệm RAINIER Giai đoạn 3 đang diễn ra. Nếu được phê duyệt, povetacicept sẽ trở thành sản phẩm thận học đầu tiên được Vertex đưa ra thị trường.
