Magnificent 7 Earnings Dates 2026: Q3 Schedule, Results and AI Capex

Updated October 23, 2026 (U.S. Pacific). Two of the seven have reported Q3 2026 results (Tesla and Meta, both on October 21). The next update follows the Microsoft and Alphabet reports on October 28.

Quick answer: when do the Magnificent 7 report Q3 2026 earnings? Tesla and Meta reported after the close on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Next are Microsoft and Alphabet on Wednesday, October 28, Amazon on Thursday, October 29 and Apple on Monday, November 2 — all four dates confirmed by the companies, all after the U.S. market close. Nvidia has not announced its date yet; the expected date is Wednesday, November 18 (third-party estimate). Tesla fell 3.1% and Meta 7.0% in the first session after their reports.

This SimianX AI page is the permanent quarterly tracker for the Magnificent 7: Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Nvidia and Tesla. It keeps one stable address and is rewritten after every report: the schedule above, a scorecard of the latest quarter against analyst estimates, five quarters of revenue, earnings per share and capital spending per company from SEC filings, the stock's move after each report, and what the group's results have done to the Nasdaq-100 and the S&P 500. To test a view on any of the seven before or after a report, you can run a live AI analysis on SimianX.

How this page is updated. Last updated October 23, 2026. Every figure comes from a primary source: company press releases filed with the SEC (Form 8-K, Exhibit 99.1), quarterly and annual reports (10-Q, 10-K) via the SEC's XBRL data, company announcements for dates, and daily closing prices from two vendors (CNBC and Nasdaq; Yahoo Finance and FRED for the indexes) that must agree. Analyst consensus figures are LSEG estimates as quoted by CNBC. After each report we add the new quarter, roll the oldest one off, record the next-session stock move and rewrite the scorecard. The next update follows Microsoft and Alphabet on October 28, 2026; the full list of update triggers is at the end of the page. Nothing here is investment advice.

Q3 2026 Results So Far: Tesla and Meta

Two of the seven have reported the July–September quarter, both on October 21, and both stocks fell the next day on a session when the Nasdaq-100 dropped 2.9%.

Tesla beat the revenue estimate and the adjusted-EPS estimate, but revenue was flat from a year earlier and GAAP earnings per share fell 44%. The headline for the AI story was capital spending: Tesla now plans about $20 billion for 2026, down from more than $25 billion, after a quarter in which free cash flow came back to $1.53 billion. Our Tesla free cash flow page breaks down what is paying for the AI push.

Meta grew revenue 26%, ahead of estimates, but operating margin fell to 20% from 40% because of a $9.89 billion charge for its agreement with 52 U.S. state attorneys general over teen mental-health litigation. Excluding the charge, Meta says operating income would have been $22.88 billion and diluted EPS $7.40. Free cash flow was negative $2.12 billion as capital spending reached $34.91 billion in the quarter. The same release announced a new class of non-voting Class C common stock, to be distributed as a one-for-one stock dividend once the restated charter takes effect (effective date January 19, 2027). For the AI bet behind the spending, see META stock after Muse.

Latest Quarter Scorecard: All Seven Against Estimates

The table shows each company's most recent reported quarter. Estimates are LSEG consensus figures as reported by CNBC on the day; "adjusted" EPS excludes items the company or CNBC treats as non-recurring, which matters this year because GAAP earnings at Alphabet, Amazon and Microsoft include large gains and losses on equity investments.

All seven beat the revenue estimate in their latest quarter, yet four of the seven stocks fell. The moves tracked guidance and spending more than the beats: Apple guided September-quarter revenue growth of 9% to 11% against a 12% estimate; Alphabet raised its 2026 capex forecast to $195–205 billion and fell 7.1%; Microsoft and Amazon rose more than 15% each on strong cloud growth (Azure +43%; AWS +37%, its fastest in 18 quarters).

Results by Company: The Last Five Quarters

Revenue and diluted EPS are GAAP figures from each company's 10-Q and 10-K filings (fourth-quarter EPS from the earnings release, because annual reports do not split it out). Capex is cash paid for property and equipment from the cash-flow statement. "Stock" is the close-to-close move from the report day to the next session; "Nasdaq-100" is the index on that same session. Apple, Microsoft and Nvidia use fiscal years, so their quarter names differ from the calendar.

GAAP EPS in Q2 and Q4 of fiscal 2026 includes gains tied to Microsoft's OpenAI investment (Microsoft's non-GAAP EPS was $4.14 and $4.74). Cash capex has doubled in a year, from $17.1 billion to $35.8 billion a quarter. The July report sent the stock up 15.5%, the largest one-day move in this table. Revenue growth has accelerated for four straight quarters, and Google Cloud grew 82% to $24.8 billion in Q2. GAAP EPS of $5.11 and $9.11 in 2026 is inflated by net gains on equity securities ($37.7 billion and $98.0 billion of other income), so CNBC's adjusted $2.85 is the comparable figure. Amazon's 2026 GAAP EPS includes pre-tax gains from its Anthropic investment: $16.8 billion in Q1 and non-operating income of $53.4 billion in Q2, primarily from Anthropic. AWS sales grew 37% to $42.2 billion in Q2, its fastest growth in 18 quarters. Amazon is the largest spender in the group: $173.0 billion of purchases of property and equipment over the last four quarters, and trailing-twelve-month free cash flow turned negative ($7.6 billion outflow). Meta's GAAP EPS swings on one-off tax and legal items: a $15.93 billion non-cash tax charge in Q3 2025, an $8.03 billion tax benefit in Q1 2026, $2.40 billion of legal charges plus $1.18 billion of severance in Q2 2026, and the $9.89 billion settlement charge in Q3 2026. Revenue has grown at least 23% in each of the five quarters, but the stock fell after four of the five reports. (Capex in this table is cash paid for property and equipment; Meta's own capex figure adds finance-lease principal, $34.91 billion in Q3 2026.)

Nvidia is the supplier on the other side of the capex boom: data center revenue was $89.0 billion of the $96.2 billion in Q2 FY27, up 117% from a year earlier. Revenue growth has accelerated for four straight quarters, yet the stock fell after four of the five reports; the exception was August 2026 (+8.7%). Tesla is the only one of the seven whose revenue shrank in a recent quarter, and its stock has fallen after four straight reports, including −14.5% in July 2026. Quarterly capex has roughly doubled since 2025.

AI Capex: How Much the Magnificent 7 Are Spending

Capital spending, almost all of it on AI data centers, is the number investors watch most closely this season. Over the last four reported quarters the seven companies paid $558.5 billion for property and equipment, up 70% from $328.3 billion in the four quarters before (SimianX calculation from SEC cash-flow statements; fiscal periods differ slightly by company).

Notes: "Latest quarter capex" and "Last 4 quarters" are cash purchases of property and equipment from the cash-flow statement, so they exclude finance leases; the guidance column uses each company's own definition. Microsoft's chief financial officer Amy Hood said the lower calendar-2026 figure reflects a change in data-center useful lives (15 to 25 years) that moves future leases from finance to operating leases, and that "outside of this useful life impact, our calendar year 2026 CapEx investment expectations remain unchanged." Taking midpoints, the five companies that give a 2026 number plan about $755 billion this year.

For how this spending compares with cash flow, see AI capex 2026: Big Tech now spends 96% of its cash flow. The capex flows to suppliers such as TSMC, which raised its outlook in October, and memory makers such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

How Magnificent 7 Earnings Move the Nasdaq-100 and the S&P 500

The seven make up a large share of both indexes (see their weights in 2026), so their reports move the market. Across the 35 reports in the tables above (five per company, July 2025 to October 2026), SimianX calculated:

  • The stocks themselves: 13 of 35 reactions were up and 22 down. The average absolute next-session move was 5.8% (median 3.95%); 17 moves were 5% or larger and 5 were 10% or larger. Meta had the largest average swing (9.0%), Apple the smallest (2.8%).
  • The Nasdaq-100: on the 22 sessions right after a Magnificent 7 report, the index moved 1.27% on average (up or down), against 0.88% on the other 294 sessions between July 23, 2025 and October 22, 2026. For the S&P 500 the figures were 0.79% and 0.58%.
  • The biggest index days: July 30, 2026 (Nasdaq-100 +3.36%, S&P 500 +1.66%) after Microsoft (+15.5%) and Meta (−8.0%) reported the evening before; and October 22, 2026 (Nasdaq-100 −2.90%, S&P 500 −1.21%) after Meta (−7.0%) and Tesla (−3.1%).

These are associations, not proof of cause: other news lands on the same days, including the Fed (the Federal Reserve announced decisions on October 29, 2025 and January 28, 2026, both Magnificent 7 report days). The week of October 26–30, 2026 combines four Magnificent 7 reports with a Fed decision on October 28. For a look at a previous big-tech earnings week, see AI stocks pull back as OpenAI doubts hit big-tech earnings.

What to Watch in Each Report

  • Microsoft (Oct 28): Microsoft guided Azure growth of about 45% in constant currency for Q1 FY27 and Intelligent Cloud revenue of $40.95–41.25 billion, with capex "over $50 billion" in the quarter. Azure grew 43% in the June quarter.
  • Alphabet (Oct 28): whether Google Cloud keeps its 82% growth rate, and any change to the $195–205 billion capex range. Alphabet gives no numeric revenue guidance; its CFO said renting third-party capacity would weigh modestly on Cloud margins in Q3.
  • Amazon (Oct 29): guidance was net sales of $197.0–202.0 billion and operating income of $22.5–26.5 billion. Watch AWS growth after the 37% Q2 print and whether capex rises above about $220 billion.
  • Apple (Nov 2): Apple guided September-quarter revenue growth of 9% to 11% and said parts supply constraints could weigh on iPhone revenue. It is the first report under CEO John Ternus.
  • Nvidia (expected Nov 18): guidance is revenue of $108.0 billion, plus or minus 2%, and gross margin of 74.0%, with no data center compute revenue from China assumed. Last year Nvidia announced its date on October 29 for a November 19 report.
  • Meta and Tesla (reported): the next checkpoints are Meta's Class C stock dividend (charter effective January 19, 2027) and Tesla's spending against its roughly $20 billion 2026 capex plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do the Magnificent 7 report earnings for Q3 2026?

Tesla and Meta reported on October 21, 2026. Microsoft and Alphabet report on October 28, Amazon on October 29 and Apple on November 2, all after the market close and all confirmed. Nvidia has not announced its date; it is expected around November 18.

What time are the earnings released?

All seven publish results after the 4:00 p.m. ET market close and then hold a conference call: Alphabet and Meta at 4:30 p.m. ET, Amazon, Apple and (usually) Nvidia at 5:00 p.m. ET, Microsoft and Tesla at 5:30 p.m. ET. The first trading reaction comes in after-hours trading and the full reaction in the next regular session.

Which Magnificent 7 company reports first each quarter?

Tesla has reported first, alone or on the same day as others, in each of the last six seasons (most recently on October 21, 2026, together with Meta). Nvidia reports last, about a month after the others, because its fiscal quarters end in late January, April, July and October.

Did Meta beat earnings in Q3 2026?

Revenue of $64.60 billion beat the $63.37 billion LSEG estimate. GAAP EPS was $3.83 after a $9.89 billion legal charge; excluding it, Meta says EPS would have been $7.40. CNBC said it was not clear whether the $3.83 was comparable with the $5.75 estimate. The stock fell 7.0% the next day.

How much are the Magnificent 7 spending on AI capex?

$558.5 billion of property and equipment purchases over their last four reported quarters, up 70% in a year. Amazon ($173.0 billion), Alphabet ($132.4 billion), Microsoft ($115.9 billion) and Meta ($104.4 billion) account for most of it.

Do Magnificent 7 stocks usually rise after earnings?

Not in this sample: only 13 of the last 35 reactions were positive, even though all seven beat their latest revenue estimate. Guidance and spending plans have driven the moves more than the headline beat.
